The 48 km toll road opened in 1924 (motorcycle day ticket €36.50): Fuscher Törl (Edelweiss Peak, 2,571 m), Hochtor (2,503 m) and Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe (2,369 m). 36 bends and hairpins between Fusch and Heiligenblut; rideable in either direction, with preferential check-in and 'Biker Points'.
